stock engine swap
Any Advise im finally swaping my stock engine 89 si 279,000 engine for a stock 90 si engine with tranny i bought timming belt water pump and engine mounts. The engine is maintened my dealer only i have all the records!
What advise are you looking for?
Buy a Honda service manual (not a Haynes) and it tells you what to do step by step.
Get tools.
Do work.
As long as the engine is out, might as well do a FULL rebuild.
Hey - while you are at it, why not some Viarta's and a turbo!!

i still dont see what your needing advice...replace the timming belt and water pump then stick it in and drive are you asking advice on how to put it in or what to do to the new motor besides timming belt and water pump?
Not really any advice we can give you, pretty much it's a straight swap everything will bolt in fine. Flush your radiator replace the oil and coolant once it's running do a tune-up.
Don't forget your headlight fluid either.
