Default D15 SOHC intake on D16A1 Head

Anyone know if you can put a D15 SOHC intake manifold on a D16A1 DOHC head? I know it's a strange question, but I have a Dual Carb D16A1 with junk carbs on it, and I want to put a single carb D15 manifod, with a new Weber downdraft.. Thanks

nope, won't work - completely different bolt patterns and water locations

this is SOHC intake gasket on the DOHC intake

Guess I'll explain, I have a 85 CRX Convertible DX with a Brown Top Integra D16A1 swap, the D16 came with Dual Sidedraft SK racing Carbs.. I can't get them to run right, and I have a brand new Weber Downdraft from the original D15 1.5 moter. I wanted to find a manifold to mount the Weber on the D16A1...

i figured it must be a 1g CRX engine - we sell an adapter plate to install the 88 and up SOHC D-series intake manifold on the DOHC ZC and D16A1 engines, but it won't work with the 84-87 manifolds (gasket in the picture is for 88 and up) - we run dual Webers on our DOHC ZC - manifolds are available for the dual Weber on the DOHC ZC and D16A1 - don't know of any D16A1s that came with single carb

Yes, that is the problem, I would buy your adapter, but I still need a single carb manifold, and I beleive they only made those on 84-87.( I can get one) I would just buy new webers, but they are about $1000. I have the TWM intake for the dual webers.. Thanks so much for help, do you have a shop or website? How hard would it be to switch the D16A1 to fuel injected in the 85 CRX body? Wireing/comp problems?

right now, the shop is closed - we lost our lease and are trying to find a new place - http://www.zcspeed.com - converting the carbed CRX over to fuel injected is not easy - you need the complete fuel system (tank, pump, lines, etc.) and most all of the wiring from 1g CRX Si, along with the 86-87 Integra ECU, intake manifold, throttle body, cylinder sensor, etc.
