Default Coolant Temp Sensor Help

Okay, its snowing but i need to find out the size of the tool that I need to get the Coolant Temp Sensor off my OBD2 JDM GSR motor. I've tried a 20mm open end wrench and it's still not working, but 20 is the biggest I have got. Does anyone know the exact size so I can go buy it.. thanks!

are you sure you have the right one, i thought the coolant temp sensor was below the dizzy (at least on a d series) and i never thought those were bigger than even a 14mm

I'm pretty sure I do.. it goes in right by the thermostat with a single wire clip that plugs into a brass looking nut kinda thing.

that does look like it, i dont knwo then, i never thought they was that big. Do you have a cresent wrench or something adjustable? Also, search that part somewhere, some places will have the bolt size and thread pitch for sensors

Actually I am confused now. Where is my COOLANT TEMP SENSOR located on the JDM B18C GSR motor? Is it the one by my thermostat or is it in the side of the block? I don't want to have to take the wrong one off if I don't need to.. Please help! Thanks

My CEL light is on and its calling for the Coolant Temp Sensor so i'm going to take whatever i need off my old B16.

The one by the thermostat is the thermoswitch (pictured below).

The sensor under the distributor is the coolant temp sensor.

Does the blue and grey clip go into that or the red white and green? I am using the B16 wiring harness so ONE has to hang somewhere but currently I have the red white and green one plugged into the coolant temp sensor

Ok replaced BOTH sensors. The one by the thermostat and the one on the side of the block and still NO VTEC and CEL is still on
