you guys are so negative....its a wonder why we dont all have the same crap on our cars and we try and be different

 

we did just that.

 

How are we supposed to even say anything good about stock wheels that are curbed, scratched, and rusty? If it was a Volk Carbon center cap on some CE28's, you'd have better responses. Just the truth.

well no **** volks only cost 2500 dollars with tires...anyone could get probs with some rays on their car

 

stock centercaps FTMFW.

 

The centercap looks bad (like it's chipping) in the first picture. A bit better in the second picture. However, I think the stock centercap looks better than that. Especially on a stock wheel. But if you like them, then that's all that matters.

 

i dunno i guess i like REAL cf as opposed to corroded oem caps or cf look caps

and for those complaining about the wheels....um thread really is't about fat 5's

 

OP posted some jacked up wheels with corny center caps. He then asked for opinions. He got bad opinions (opinions can be good or bad .. they're still opinions) and then he went on a rage about the negativity.

Not sure where you are quoting 2500 with tires for 15" or 16" volks. I think the used market has it at about half of that. Now even if he couldn't afford it, even Rotas will get better opinions then these wheels ....

 

I like the idea. Everyone is so socially conformed these days that when they see something not JDM, it automatically isn't cool. Don't get me wrong, i'm a JDM freak myself but I still tend to appreciate creative things people do. for you fibercation. I'm looking past your beat up wheels and digging your creativity.

I agree with UCLA.lion. If you want your wheels to POP!= polish them out. They would look X1000 times better. That carbon can be put to use in better places than the center cap of your stock wheels.
