So just now i was crusin at about 40mph taken my bro home and i didnt seen a HUGE rock in middle of the road which my car is slammed and by time i seen it i hit and anf heard and felt it so i immediatly shut the car off affraid i hit the oil pan and i looked under neithe the car and seen that it dented my header pretty bad and there were scrapes on the tranny like some pretty big gashes and nothing is leaking that i seen, checked the control arms and stuff as much as i could and the arms still seem pretty stiff i dont see anything else but a little dent in the pan....do you guys think im good? anything else i should check? please i need to get this checked out tomarrow thanks......

Does it still drive fine? If its not leaking fluids I wouldn't worry about it. Just hopefully you don't have an exhaust leak where that dent is. If the ride quality is still good like I said I wouldn't worry too much over it.

So, you seem to have hit it dead on in the center, seeing as the main damage is to your exhaust manifold and oil pan, correct? You probably shouldn't have much/any suspension damage then.

My advice would be to check along the axis of impact underneath your car, you know, where the rock may have rolled or bounced during the impact. You'll also want to look into a new header (not really in the immediate future, but for whenever you want to know there isn't a big dent in your current one). Also, over the next few weeks, monitor your fluids and make sure they aren't dropping. If they are fine, you ought to be good.

If you really wanted to get tedious, to make yourself feel better you can go somewhere to check that your alignment's still in spec.

I would also check the gas tank for punctures. Aside from that, everyone else covered it.

 

lol i seen a cube van smoke a big cement block the other day he tried swerving around it in the middle of an intersection and he clipped it with his back tire and blew it out that block got ****ed up even more though lol
