Default Spitting Engine Codes...Need Help

So I just put the DC Sport 4-2-1 Race header on my 07' Si. What I didn't know about the header is that it replaced the Cat. So obviously my check engine light came on, is there anything I can do other then put the stock manifold on? The only thing I could think of is the Hondata reflash, or i've heard about after marked O2 sensers that send your ECU a false reading. Has anyone had this issue and fixed it? Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks

Blox one-piece de-fouler. Requires no modification. Just screw the secondary O2 sensor into this defouler and screw the defouler into the secondary O2 sensor spot on the header pipe. Make sure you disconnect the battery before beginning the installation.

When you're fininshed turn the car on and let it idle for about 15 minutes. CEL should be gone and should stay gone.

I have had this on for over a year and a half now and have not popped a single CEL. Enjoy!

Sounds good thank man. Will I still pass DEQ with it? I know I won't need it for a few more years, I just wanted to check

Probably not. The race header eliminates the Catalytic Converter....which I believe is a mandatory component on all motor vehicles. Some states don't do emissions testing as part of their yearly vehicle inspections....but some do...and you will not pass an emissions test with the catalytic converter removed.

See if your state does emissions testing....if they do then you'll have to switch out the header for the original when that time comes.

every state is different, but in idaho (at least in my county) the emissions test consists of them plugging in their computer to the obd2 port and basically just scanning for cel's. if your car doesn't have a cel, you pass. therefore, having a defouler would mean you'd pass. just gotta check into how emissions tests are done locally.
