Fitv or no?

Default Fitv or no?

ive got an obd1 ls vtec in my crx but i am running a throttle body with no fitv and it doesnt run too good on cold starts, should i get a throttle body with an fitv or will it not help. Thanks

if i am not mistaken the FItv is ment for cold starts

that would be accurate, but what do you mean by it doesn't run too good? all the fitv does is bump up the idle when the engine is cold. if its idling real low at first startup then that might be your problem.

When i say it doesn't run good i mean when i try to start it I have to give it gas for it to start and have to keep the gas held for it to stay started. Thanks

yep thats your prob then...mine went in my bmw and i bypassed it....its sucks in the morn when its cold
