The O2 sensor is only 1 wire. I'm pretty sure the yellow and the grn/blk wires are from your reverse switch.

Well..... if the yellow and the grn/blk wires don't connect to the O2 you don't have much of an option now do you.

what the hell are you talking about? neither does the white with a grey coating on it!

from a wiring diagram it show that the black wire coming out of the o2 sensor turns into a white wire at the ecu. so is the white wire with the grey coating over it the wire that the o2 sensor wire connects to?

it is the white wire, it is black to the connector, after the connector it is a shielded white wire. The grey is the covering for the shield.

yes, but don't use a butt connector. Use crimp on bullet connectors, do not solder the sensor side, you can solder the harness side if you want to. Heat shrink both sides, and it would be a good idea to put heat shrink over the entire connection. The O2 sensor is low voltage, so any extra resistance can cause misreadings at the ECM.

You said you have 3 wires which are not connected to any thing. The yellow and the grn/blk wires are supposed to connect to the reverse switch. And the white with the covering is supposed to connect to the O2 sensor. I've already told you twice.

Your DONE..
