Im trying to find solid clear tail lights, not with the red circles just solid clear. This is for a project (2000 si style tail lights) that i want to do for my hatch. If anyone cant point me the right direction it owuld be much apreciated

So do you consider sotck 2000 si tail lights rice? because thats the look im going for. Not to get defensive or anything but i think it would be unique. Im not goin with a body kit, aluminum spoiler, yellow stickers, or any stupid crap like that. I got a b16a swap with a b16b head, no body mods, little bit lowered, and 2000 si rims. so i wouldnt consider myself rice.

(in case its confusing, im going to do the spray on tail light tint on the top portion of the tail lights but in red, dont worry ill do it right)

 

Do what you want to do. Rice is in the eyes of the beholder. JDM will be "rice" someday too.

 

I think rice is trying to make a slow car look fast, plain and simple. By doing a 2000 si theme on my 90 hatch, im being unique, but im not trying to make it look fast. Anyway back to topic, i need to find these tail lights =/

 

i agree with you sir HT is getting ridiculous with all this rice, jdm and trend ****. to all there own, but to some extent i would have to disagree (like the huge spoilers, bodykit and **** like that) but from what it sounds like it seems to be interesting and unique like you said, good luck with the find!

Those no name altezza tails are very cheaply made and look that way too, but to each their own.

As far as jdm being rice, yeah right, NO! Having real oem parts on a car, especially rare ones, will "never" be considered rice.

I'm not going to lie, if I ever stumble across some 88-89 all clear tails for my 4 door, I will buy them, they are very ****ing rare. Although I would rather rock some JDM 88-89 tails on my 4 door.

 

Those are the ones the Op is talking bout but making them look like the bottom ones..(RED ON TOP CLEAR ON BOTTOM)

 

Wouldn't flow well in my opinion. the center section is just going to look homo. Reverse light is gonna be half white, half red lmfaooo
