alright i'm mad curiouse because people are telling me integra non vtec are almost as slow as civics

alright ... an auto Civic Ex 98ish will run 1/4 in what 16.6 ?
well an auto integra non vtec of same year runs high 16's to low 17's making civic faster ?

but in my 5spd teg i hit a 15.8 what does a 5 spd vtec civic run 1/4 mile

 

your 5speed ls should be faster than the ex or whatever it is that comes with the sohc vtec. ive herd of ls's beating Si's too.

 

well i know that i'm just curiouse what a 5spd civic ex would run ... and whats an si 5spd run ?

 

doesnt the weight of the car have something to do with it..tegs are heavier than civics...if LS is just as slow as si/ex then why would civic guys swap LS's into them?

a friends ex civic with IHE 16.1 regularly

 

what are the stock values ? for the ex and si ? in 5spd or does no one know ?

 

Stock EX runs high 16's, low 17's

Stock LS runs high 15's, low 16's. Its a pretty significant difference.

 

Common guy's. No LS Integra is going to get beat by a Civic...STOCK FOR STOCK. I mean...Acura is higher than Honda, Why would they make thier Honda's faster than their Acuras?

 

Well there is the Honda S2000... which is faster than all the acura's except the NSX

 

I think the LS will always come out on top; unless the driver is having the crappiest day of his life.
