oil leak!?!?!?

Default oil leak!?!?!?

i just noticed i had a small oil leak with my car, and on there ground there is a little bit left but when i opened my hood i had some oil on the valve cover a bunch on the alternator and some on the bottom of the hood! can someone please tell me what is wrong so i can fix this oil leak.
i even have pictures

maybe your gasket for you valve cover went bad. see if the leak has started there.

on my sisters old integra, the valve cover gasket dried out and started leaking oil and she never took her valve cover off. i replaced it and it was fine after that.

oil is not immune to gravity, so find the highest point and that should be where it starts from. are you sure you didn't spill any oil when you were refilling it with oil?

If it's on the hood I'd inspect the 6 rubber bushings under the washers that hold the cover down.

ummm dumb question..........is the oil cap in place?????? lol hahaha if so, check the valve cover gasket, and the valve cover stud holes where the cover nuts tighten the valve cover down. these are both prone to dry rot issues.

did you use any corrosive cleaners or high pressure water / engine degreaser recently???
if so, then the gasket is most likely destroyed.

Look at your passenger motor mount, good chance that it blew and got hydraulic fluid everywhere

check the seal on the tensioner door on the chain cover.. it is sealed with honda bond but can eventually leak i guess. make sure your oil filter is on tight.(not too tight tho)
