Default suggestions on trading in

**scroll down for pics, thanks to spaz**

i recently financed a 03 rsx base auto and wanted to do a swap to manual, now the problem is my car got hit in the passenger quarter really bad(dont know how to post up pics sorry) while it was parked(hit and run) so im pissed and want to just trade in my car for a type-s or manual rsx. Now my question is how is the process with the dealership and should i get it fixed with the 500 deduct. and goto the dealership....or take the car as is and explain and trade infor types.

taking a broken car to a dealership for trade in will get you literally NO money.

The $500 deductable isn't bad. The car's value is going to drop a lot now. I say fix it and save for goodies.

car value dropping is not a problem, its gonna drop regardless plus any money towards reducing the price of a manual/type-s so i pay somewhat the same amount monthly is my main concern

Basically when you go to the dealer, they haggle your value any way possible. You'd get lowballed if it were pristine, and if it's smashed up, your not going to get nearly anything. a few grand. Thats just how it works with dealers.

If you're going to get another car, skip the manual base and get the type s. If you're going to keep the car, I have everything you need to swap it to manual but the tranny and pedals. lol
