E-brake removal

Default E-brake removal

Ok I need some help and I have tried searching. Is it possible to remove the ebrake handle? My button is ratteling so I bought a new spring but it lookes like the old one cant be removed without taking the whole assemble apart which is rivited together

If you've gotten far enough to see that it's riveted together, I'd say that you may have to drill them out. Go with your gut. Drilling is more fun anyhow. Replace the rivets with bolts that have a smooth shank on them instead of thread right up to the head.
