Default FS: K20 Bare head!

I have a bare K20 head up for grabs!

As far as I know, nothing is wrong with it. I inspected it, the valve seals and seats all look fine, and the head is not warped.

It's just missing some valvetrain

Anyways, here are some pics:

I'm asking $120 SHIPPED!

So shoot me offers guys

Please PM if interested, and thanks for looking!

220 shipped?! for that?? that is a base ep3 or rsx head, so no "real" vtec.... sorry but that head is pretty much worthless. you can get a entire k20a3 longblock for less than 500.

Oh I'm sorry, I was not aware that there was "Real" VTEC and "Fake" VTEC.

Either way, I'll lower the price. I don't deal with K20s, I'm more of a B-Series fan.
But neither motors make dick for power.

That's why LS1s will always be better.

ok.... well i didn't say there was "fake" vtec... but there is true vtec that uses 3 lobe cams on both the intake and exhaust but this head uses 1 lobe exhaust and 2 lobe intake.

and LS1 are so much better...um.... thats why the number one engine manufacture in the world in Honda and last time i checked they didn't make the LS1.

good luck with your worthless head

Dude, I love Hondas just as much as you do but trying to say that an LS1 is a piece and doesn't make power is just plain stupid. The LS1 is an excellent engine... now back on topic..

If you had at LEAST the cam caps, the head wouldn't be quite as "worthless". Without the cam caps its going to need to be line bored once someone does find another set of caps to make things work correctly.

Maybe in mass production, but are they really that great? They didn't make it on 2008 engines of the year.

The list goes on..

I took the liberty of highlighting the hondas for you. They only grabbed the title for a few years, and on the same engines. Nothing new. last time they even made the list was 2006.

lol.

I don't see Honda's "street cars" running 9sec quarter miles....

But I DO see LSX cars doing it.

Hm.....

On top of that, I see turbo LSXs making 30mpg also.

So, if done and tuned right, not only do LS1s out power any Honda motor ever, but they also can get 30mpg.

Funny huh?

Actually, last I checked, the Companies that made the best motors were:

Nissan (With their RB motors)
BMW (With their N54s)
Toyota (With their 2JZs)

For being stock, those ****ers can handle almost anything.

Now for by far the most badass potential wise 4 banger I have seen, it would have to go to GMs EcoTec motor.

I'm not going to list **** out for you, so you can go ahead and research.

It's not that I dislike Honda, or anything of that nature. As a matter of fact, I own a Honda myself. I have a 99 EK coupe that I am building right now. The estimated power output of this next setup should be anywhere in the 400-450whp range on low boost.

I just like LS1s better. They can go way faster for way cheaper.

That's all, it's not like I'm a GM **** or anything. I have looked at both sides and been there. And obviously GM has turned me to the dark side.

**** VTEC, I'd rather have an MS4.
