Noise from front suspension
I keep hearing a clunk/popping noise every time i hit a bump in my 2002 LX sedan. I know what you guys are thinking, check outthe FAQ section or search. Well i have. Recently, i have replaced the struts and shocks, strut mounts, put on new lowering springs and new lower control arms up front. Well i still hear a bit of a clunk from the front drivers side when i hit bumps. Its not as bad as before, but i still hear it. Is there anything else i should be looking at, or should i take it back to the shop that did all the work and have them see if something was done wrong or a faulty part. Thank you.
Update: I took my ride into the shop to have them look at it. THey found that the perch (im not sure if im spelling that right) was damaged on the front drivers side strut, so the spring was not seating itself properly. Tommorow they will be replacing it, and it will hopefully be good as new. Just in time to, since i got my neuspeed strut tower bar today. Thanks for all the help guys

With the car sitting still, turn the wheel from side to side. If it doesn't make any noise, then you can rule out the tie rod ends and ball joint, pretty much.
I havnt throughly inspected them, but if the mount was shot wouldnt it make noise when reving the engine (since this forces it to move). I dont hear the noise while sitting still, so i can count out the ball joint or endlink like stated above. Any other ideas? Thanks guys. ALso, if i upgrade the sway bar to a 20mm in the rear, do i need to upgrade my endlinks?

its not motor mounts, its not sway bar bushings, check your compliance bushings in the lower control arms, they are notorious for tearing on early 7th gens, replace with energysuspension lca bushings, 50 bucks some labor and ur done
If its not mounts and you replaced the struts, springs and lower arms I would recheck over everything. Not to say you did but possibly left something loose. If you ruled out balljoints and inner and outer tie rod ends are you sure the spring is seated or postioned correctly on the strut?
Did this noise start after you did any of the above work or before?

I had all of this work done in a shop, so i guess i should just take it back and have them take a look at everything. There was always a noise up front, but it was worse. Thats why i replaced everything. For the first few days, maybe even a week or 2 everything seemed fine. But recently i have heard the noise more.
