Replaced struts several months ago and now squeeky noise
I must be a glutton for punishment as I embark on fixing all the **** wrong with this car, can't complain though... hopefully it will last another 12 years!!
Anyway, I replaced the struts several months ago, but reused the rubber pieces that the spring mounts to at the top of the tower. Could that be causing the irritating suspension squeek?
(Not too cool when you go on dates... )

It could be your upper control arm bushings and/or ball joint. That's where the noise is coming from on my car at the moment. Have a look at yours to see if the boots are ripped or smashed.

I have also experienced suspension squeak from a bad ball joint. I also had a squeak that sounded like it was coming from right under the strut tower. Fixed it by soaking the area with penetrating oil to clean it and later applying a lubricant.
Good luck. Those noises blow.

Haha I remember those days, mine was from the sway bars though. I finally just said screw it and got rid of them when I got coilovers.

Tried the lub on the upper rubber part where the coil seats. It did quiet it down a lot, but when the lub dried out it came back. Seems to get worse when everything gets wet from rain. Funny thing is the noise never happened until I changed out the struts. Hmmm, maybe its time to get a new set of those rubber mounts that the coil seats into.
