1984 Isuzu Impulse 12.9 19.0

1986 Isuzu Impulse Turbo 8.5 16.4

1991 Isuzu Impulse XS 9.3 16.9

1992 Isuzu Impulse RS 7.7 15.8

I would say you have a pretty good chance unless its a RS

Impulses have no bottom end torque, but I here the top end is allright on the turbo...

Killer looks from the front plus RWD/AWD!!!

Just make sure he is stock. I got run pretty bad by one in the b16 rex on the freeway. I don't know what was done to his car, but I guess it was a lot, he was pulling buslengths on me

I ran 15.8 with a slipping clutch and crappy tires, if you can drive you should be able to take him even if he has the RS.

Well one of my friends had both the AWD turbo RS, and the front wheel drive NA XS, and let me tell you they were both quick. His wife drove the RS, and he drove the RS.

He had I/H/E, quaiffe lsd, short shifter, 2.5 inch exhaust, and a bunch of other stuff, not to mention it was completly gutted. He raced a lot of SCCA in it, nevr dragged, but we would hit the street races sometimes, and he would surprise the **** out of a lot of people. He won a lot more than he lost.

So to make a long story short, it will come down to what he has, and who is a better driver. Either way good luck .
