I plan on repainting my brake calipers and I was wondering what would be a good paint and clearcoat that will last a long time? I plan painting them red since the car is red.

 

Clean them off with brake cleaner and let them dry. Get some caliper paint and some high temp clear

 

Duplicolor makes a good kit you can get from any parts store for about $20

 

Yeah I had saw that. I also saw it at walmart for about 15 bucks. I was just seeing if there was a better brand of paint to use or better technique.

 

They make a spray on and brush on kit, the spray on works better and the paint lays better when dry, but the calipers have to be off the car to avoid making a mess.

 

Yeah they are off. While they are off what would be a good brake fuild to use? I use motul on my bmw and I was thinking about using it on my honda. By the way I have prelude vtec rotors with acura legend caliper conversion.

 

motul is a good choice and so is redline brakefluid
