Somebody stole my 2000 civic ex friday and now im about to buy a 95 dx. got it for like 725 with some front end damage. Is it worth building? or cheaper to swap with a b16? thanks

well.. the cheaper motor than the b16 to swap in is the d16z6, if you would like to stay single cam... but then again the Ls's are cheaper too and they have more tq than the b16, but the b16 has about 15-25 more hp.. depending on which b16 you get.(USDM b16=160hp, JDM Obd1 or Obd2=170hp) I like the b16's but a lot of ppl don't like them because they don't have a lot of tq.. the d15b7's aren't that great but you could always build a mini me out of it with some high compression pistons and do some headwork to a z6 head and everything... but that's up to you...
