No turn signals...loud buzz when turned on.
Ok so here's the problem. When the turn signal switch is flipped up or down you get a loud buzz from the flasher. When you push in the hazard switch you get the same loud buzz.
So here is what i did so far:
Changed the signal switch stalk, hazard switch, signal FLASHER. Nothing fixed the problem!
What can it be, i can't find it for anything.
Could it be the cluster? The reason i ask is because i noticed the battery light, oil light, etc stay on when the key is turned on, I am pretty sure they are supposed to go out after a second or 2. They don't go out until you start the car.
Is there another relay under the hood for the signals?
The car does not have reverse lights, does this affect the signals?

I suspect a faulty ground in the turn signal circuit, check all factory grounding points under the hood and in the kick panel and upper dash area (usually a 10mm bolt with a cluster of wires in a ring terminal).
I believe the gauge lights stay lit until the car is started, especially the battery and oil light, alternator isn't charging and no oil pressure.

You will need to locate the grounds and check them, we don't know what model and year vehicle you have or someone may be able to track down a wire schematic. They aren't hard to locate, as mentioned, look for a 10mm bolt with a copper/steel ring terminal and a cluster of wires coming off them, anything connected to chassis ground in this manner should be checked. If you look above the fuse block above the drivers side kick panel, you will see a few (below the "A" pillar), also a few under the hood. I would be more specific but I can only tell you the usual ground locations for Hondas without knowing the model.
Also check your bulbs, some bulbs will have elements that collapse and short out internally, and can cause all sorts of problems.

i had same problem in my 91 civic dx, found out it was my pass side turn signal, the wires had rotten and were shorting out on each other, fixed that and everything but hazards work now lol
mine did that when i first got my crx. me and my dad replaced all the bulbs and re-did all the wiring for the front and back lighting....i suspect that its the back taill lights that needs replacing....try that out im sure it'll work...yeah i hated that noise it was like a freekin door buzzer
*Update* I got a chance to look more into the kids car, i found someone had installed LED turn signal bulbs in the rear aftermarket tails before he bought the car. Also, the front bumper lights are missing totally, they removed the harness for each side.
Once i removed the LED bulbs the buzz stopped. Instead it flashes fast because its still missing the bumpers.
I noticed that one of the 194 bulbs has no power to the connector, but the other 3 are fine. I have to look more into that one.

Question similar in nature... 2006 Accord LX. When using the signal in either direction it produces buzzing... when you move it to the "non signal area" it stops, more times then not I can move it back into the signal and it will work. Recommendations?
