Default Rev hard turbo - 2.5" or 3" cat???

Since the Rev Hard kit uses a 2.5" downpipe should I stick with a 2.5" cat? Everybody says get 3" but I don't know if it's really worth it to have someone weld a 3" flange on the downpipe. Is there an easier way to do this or should I just stick with the 2.5" cat? I do plan on getting a 3" exhaust.

For a 3" exhaust, you would need a 3" flange welded to the 2.5" cat if that is what you went with anyway. Why not get a higher flowing 3" cat? With FI, less backpressure is a good thing.
