1990 Accord with problems
Hey Everyone,
Hoping some people can help me solve some problems ... I have a 1990 Honda Accord Sedan, that has recently started buring oil. The strange thing is that when it is hot, everything seems fine. But when the temperature dips, everytime I start the car, blue smoke comes out the rear ...
Secondly, is there a reason that the radio and clock is tempermental? As in working sometimes and not other? I've checked all the fuses and they're fine ... any suggestions?
Thanks Everyone!

sounds like your getting oil blow-by in the piston rings. When they're warmer, they expand and seal better. When colder, contract and oil blows by. Need: new bottom end...
How many miles on the car? (uh...that would kinda help too)

the car has about 260 thousand KMs on it ... guess it's not a problem really worth fixing if I need a new bottom end. Would using a heavier oil help the problem? I live in Canada, so the problem is quite noticible in the winter cause it's cold.
about the clock/radio thing, is there a fix there? no radio is rather annoying at times.
Thanks!
