cap rotor and coil help

Default cap rotor and coil help

im trying to take the rotor off... theres a plastic cover thats bot lettin me get to that bolt on the rotor... what will happen if i break that cover?

u need to turn the motor over till u can get to the bolt ther should be a section of the dust cover that will allow u the get to it u just need to get the rotor into the rite place

If you break the cover than it broken and youll have to go buy a new one it keeps the internals safe if little pieces off metal break off or ur rotor takes a crap it needs to be ther

Put a socket on the crank and turn it over by hand. Wats wrong with the vehicle

Ya The plastic is simply a dust cover. Turn the crank over and there is an opening at one end of the dust cover try not to drop the screw in the dust cover or on the ground if you plan on reusing it. Sometimes you will have to use a little force to get the rotor off after you take the screw out so don't be alarmed.
