O2 sensor whole........????

Default O2 sensor whole........????

i cant find my O2 sensor, so for now theres a whole in the headers where the sensor screw in....can i drive it like that? is it dangerous? will it do any harm to the engine......its like a 1/2 inch whole in the headers where the sensor goes........can i drive the car like that?

its a 1997, D16Y7 stock........i have some after market headers....and for now they have a whole.....can i drive it like that?

How come you can't find it? That seems like a weird object to misplace.

Anyway, correct me if I'm wrong but yes you can drive like that (just like having an O2 sensor go bad) however your gas mileage will be shot and real low.

Yea its drive able just an annoying exhaust leak. Strange its gotta be there. Maybe past the cat? Dunno

well, i dont have the sensor at the moment...and how bad is the gas mileage?
the exhaust leak sounds crazy, that **** sounds like a harley bike, it has that machine gun sound you know?

My brothers dropped from 32 to around 20 in his eclipse. Yea its really annoying, Ive had exhaust leaks before, and they suck.

there should be 1 above the cat and behind the cat.
its right in front of the rad. and youll have to go under the car to get to the other.
yes you can drive like that.
you cant find it?? it doesnt move!
did the car even come with one?

its a stock Y7, its OBD2, i have 2 sensors......when i put the aftermarket headers, it had 2 wholes (for the sensors) one of the wholes is a broken sensor (dont ask why) and the other one is completely open, because i dont have the sensor at the moment.....mi question is......can i drive it like that, and when i mean drive it, i mean drive it for no more than one day. can i drive it without ****ing anything up?

yes.... when i go in a wreck with my civic and the core support crushed my o2 she still ran fine and drove up the trailer udder her on power.
you wont hurt anything! yea its not going to be runing as it should , and will be leaking like a mother, you could drive and be fine.
how long do you want to drive it??

thanks alot man....oh by the way, i also broke the plug on my sensor that goes inside the intake tube......the sensor is fine, but the wires going in to the plug ripped, kind of like someone cut them off.....what do i do about that? anybody?

well what i would do is get a couple but connecters, strip all the wires and reconnect them, that should be ok for you.
but of they are still connected to the sensor just wrap them up reall good with some electricl tape.

right now, that sensor in the intake is not plugged in either.....but i thought about doing the electrical tape too
