sand blast it weld some pieces in the big spots and fill the rest with kitty hair then sealer primer.i dont think it would take all that much time to fix it.

If that was my car I'd put a new roof skin on it, but I also having doing skins down to a science now lol, takes me about 4-5 hours to do the whole job. I wouldn't even try to patch that up, it's just make it a mess.
Very nice!! Id love to do that some day right now i dont have the space to do it or the spare time OR the money. I have been researching body work and painting and all that and id def like to do that on the next project car i get.
I'm guessing you made time to hit up a few junk yards to get that roof? I can't find anything in my area. Is there a good online source to find something like that? Also, I'm kinda concerned with the structural integrity of the car. I'm guessing that if the welds are done right, that I'll be ok? This will be a street car only, so I won't be rocking a cage.

Just went back and read your thread Panda, you literally just replaced the top, no frames at all. Ok, cool. I went ahead and started searching for it. Sent an email to Import Auto Salvage. I've ordered OEM from then before.
How wrong is it for me to bail on the sunroof on my 95 Si hatch?

Ehh its not wrong It will actually pry be better because i hear some of them leak. And less weight from the electric roof!! And you gotta do what you can find.
Yeah, I'm 6' and the sunroof is already pretty close as is... plus it'll probably be cheaper for the cap since there will be more avail.
