B18C1 with skunk2 mani question
Do you "need to" no,
"Should you" yes.
Your stock ecu will try to use the secondary butterflies, which the S2 IM doesn't have.
Also, your a/f ratio will be off since the ecu is programed for a stock GSR.
What cams are you running?

You won't have a cell, but with stock GSR cams, an aftermarket IM is the last thing you should install.

well i'm not going for an insane amount of power. i just want alittle more. can you run aftermarket cams with stock valves and springs?
i just sent them an email asking for recommendations... lets see what they say but i cant really afford any of that right now except for the ecu.
If you decide to run ITR/CTR cams, all you will need are some ITR Inner Intake valve springs. Then you can use your stock GSR Inner Intake valve springs and move them to the exhaust side, (GSR Inner Intake springs are the same as ITR Inner Exhaust springs).
