Well my friend got this gsr, and the intake air temperature sensor has no plug or anything, so it is not connected, and i know the sensor mesures air density and controls fuel trim,
and his acts shitty and i assume thats one of the reasons, I have All data on my computer and i cant seem to find where on the ecu the iat would go, because i would just connect 2 wires to the sensor and run them to the correct pins on the ecu.
but im not sure which one it is

wait he doesnt have a Inlet air temp pined in his ecu or the plugs ther and thers not one connected. THis sensor has only small amount of play in ur fuel map enough to maybe affect gas milage but ive nvr heard of one causing a car to run rough
are u talking about the IAT(which measures the temp of the intake air, and wont have a noticeable affect on the motor), or the MAP sensor(which is what u probably mean since u said "air density") and this will cuz the motor to run crappy if not plugged in
map sensor may cause some problems but not a iat. Speed density ecu's main fuel caculation componants are TPS, O2, MAP, Knock, IACV and Coolant temp. I IAT makes minor adjustment to a fuel map only enough to make a diff maybe in fuel milage but make a car run like crap i think not. Not if ur map is bad that could be a big problem.
