EDIT NEEDED:
the generic lights in the centre are going away, yes that means a new bumper...
/edit
I bought some OEM honda foglights for my '00 hatch from handaaccessories.
Was a bit of a pain to cut the hole, but the fit and finish is perfect, factory even
Although they are out of dark grey buttons so my dash is slightly mismatched... for now...
some generic driving lights in the centre grill have been there for a long time

And a couple of pictures of me getting down to the nitty and the gritty
first side I was a little cautious when following the directions for cutting the hole, and I think it came out alright, a little ratty but you'll never see that.

followed the directions much closer on the second side

stupid lower car, I recommend jacking it up if any of you do this

oh and stupid bright generic driving lights are not on all the time, not tied to the fogs or anything

You sure you have enough lights on there?
Fogs look good, but big blue one's in the grill need to go.
Which means, you need to replace that bumper.

they are on their way out, as soon as a new bumper is found. This one is toast anyway from driving in the snow, last year on the highway a huge snow turd fell off from behind the wheel of the truck in front of me and took a chunk out and made big ol' cracks throughout my bumper.

Meh, experiment with the bumper you have now. When you get rid of the middle lights, take the grill out with them and see how you like it. You may rather not spend money on a new bumper if it doesn't look too bad to you.

WoW, I never realized quite how dead H-T is since the big change, in the past this thread would have been 1 or 2 pages down by now, so sad

yes... this I understand (barely), my point being that you type/speak like a child, and you obviously read about as well. This whole thread agrees with you, I agree with you, the inner lights are going, the new oem foglights are staying. I appreciate your input in this matter and I await with bated breath for your next post, be it within this thread or another, I have no doubt it will be both informative and well thought out, wElCoMe tO hOnDa-TeCh '09 mEmBeR...
