alright so my speedo stopped working the other day and my vtec was already not working so today i searched around and found a ground to my vtec hooked it up took off down the road and wasnt expecting vtec to work but to my surprise it did but the speedo is not working so why is my vtec? also i unplugged the VSS and my car still threw no code where it was throwing the VSS code before i hooked the gropnd up it doesnt make any sense i know alot about hondas and crap but this is strange cause vtec is not supposed to engage if your cluster is not working...anybody have any ideals about what is going on? please help me out

 

You're right, VTEC won't engage with out a signal from the VSS. So maybe the cluster is faulty?
