d15 motor problem...idles rough and dies when given gas????
I have a 93 hatch and i just put my d15 motor back in and for some reason when i start it the engine sounds likes its got a huge cam in it and when i go to give it gas it boggs out and dies... not sure what the problem could be or if anybody could help me out! also i can not seem to get reverse... i put it in gear and it acts like its a 6 speed when i think its in reverse... any help would be awesome about the motor or tranny problems!! thank you

it sounds to me like your TPS and MAP plugs need to be switched arround. it's verry common. check that out man and LMK.
