Hey H-T, Civic noob here and i'm not really familiar with the rear suspension at all.

Took my newly acquired 91 DX Sedan in for an alignment since it was pulling and they told me they were not able to align the toe on the rear end. Problem is mainly on the rear passenger side where it looks like the car was hit at one point, the bumper tabs were broken but other than that it looks fine. Didn't notice anything strange or bent with the suspension just by looking at it.

I'm also getting a pretty bad vibration from the rear when i'm going a decent speed, like over 25mph. I'm thinking the rear wheel bearings are shot? I still have to jack up the car and check for play though.

I guess what i'm asking is, what rear suspension piece effects toe if I were to replace it if the problem ends up being something other than the bearings?

 

rear toe is adjusted at the compensator arm where it connects to the body - has slotted hole - compensator arm is between the end of the trailing arm and the body

 

Trailing arm bushings, compensator arm bushings, bent trailing arm, uni-body damage will all affect rear toe.

How were the rest of the measurements? Was rear camber OK? Right side?

Noise does sound like a bearing.

Id replace your bearings and trailing arm bushings and go from there.
