I've had this problem for the last 6 months, and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. My car runs fine, but when I want to take it to high RPM's it stutters horrible anything above 5-6k. Now, I have a LS distributor on my JDM b18c sir-g.
These are the things I have replaced:
Dizzy cap
Rotor
Spark Plug wires
Checked timing
Inspected plugs, they looked fine.
Now, I have no idea what year car my dizzy came off of, all I know is that it's a sohc/ls dizzy. Can anyone point me in the right direction here of what to check next? Only other things I can think of are fuel filter or a clogged injector. I tried my friends spark plug wires before I replaced mine, and my car pulled hard as hell, so I thought that was my problem. Then I replaced mine, and I still have the hesitation.

Oil is fine, first thing I checked actually. Forgot to list it.
Another thing I just thought of. The sensor connector for the VTEC solenoid doesnt "click" onto the vtec solenoid, like the clip part is broken, but VTEC engagement is very noticeable at 4400rpm.

No. I replaced my primary 02 sensor not too long ago, also your when at WOT the ECU doesn't look at the 02 sensor for a reading, it's in open loop. It uses the programmed fuel maps.
