Ok so I'm doing a wire tuck/ obd0-obd1 conversion on my 89 civic std(yes i will be purchasing my ish not butchering my harnesses) and my tb (d16z6 im/tb) has a map on it. I'm building an obd1 mini mi a6 bottom z6 head. I would like to just remove the map sensor/w/e the other sensor on the fire wall is and not have them period since my tb has a map sensor on it already.

so my q is what is the other sensor next to the oem map? it has a vaccume line running to the charcole canister (I plan on keeping my emmisions stuff as much as possible). here's a pic if it helps:

edit: p.s.s. i know my mc is from a teg it's just chillin to keep my brake fluid off the ground, i have an ex mc that i'm going to use when i'm closer to being ready to bleed the brakes

purge fuel vapors from the charcoal canister. Used for smog purposes.
