I have a y8 and lately i've been having some wierd idle/drivablity issues. About a week ago i completely dueched the TB and intake with some seafoam and a plastic wire brush.... yet since then it has been progressively worse back to its normal shitty running ruitine. My main question is, when i pull the TB mounted Map sensor and blow air in it, the air shoots right back out through the seam. Shouldn't that be a airtight seal so it can get a correct reading? Thanks for any info on this subject. Ive searched and only foudn ones for sale.

Sounds like you need to replace the rubber O ring around the map sensor.

You should remove the map sensor before cleaning the throttle body. You may have damaged it.
