I have had this civic for the past 3 years and all of the sudden it start having this hesitation around 2500 or 3000 RPMs or when the green light for the "Change Shith" comes on. what is wrong with this? is it the cpu? I took it to the dealer and they told me that the spar plugs where to hot for the engine (Bosh Platinum) so I change them, and it did not work. Some times when I'm on the higway and I'm doing around 55 to 60 mph and 2700 RPMs the car start the hesitation by it self and you can see the stick sifht jumping. Does anybody have a suggestion? what can I do to fix this? Thanks for your time.

Timing? My car does that but my timing is set way back for the jrsc. Maybe you should check your timing.

 

I have try the timing problem and it is in the specifications. Is it correct that the valves can create that kind of hesitation? my shop did the timming belt, the distributor, but I have not heard anything about them timming my valves, do you thing it could be that? again, this shop is telling me that the car is doing this because it is a HX and the CPU does that and that it is normal for this car. Should I change shop? Thanks for your help.
