this isn't an ITR, but it's an ITR CAI

it's was a silver AEM that had the paint removed then polished

 

i've got a pic of min out of the car before i sold it. if you need that let me know. i assume you are getting pics for the guy who said you sold him a Si intake.

 

yup , yea if you cuold post it.
i even called aem , they said they prob just fucked up the id tags on the piping, they said it happens all the time .
the id was wrong on the pipe , but it was the right one , and the diameter was correct.
i was told by aem the type r and civic si are 2 different pipes in diameter and in the styling in genereal , they said they shouldnt even be able to fit from car to car, but people have made them fit from squeezing. . . i know i sure as **** didnt haveto sqeeze it in
now he's threatening me saying he's gonna come down here and this and that and post up complaints about me up in here.
i told him whatever floats his boat.

i sanded down first then polished it with a buffer.

it was a bitch getting that intake into my Si.

and yes the Si is 2.5" and the ITR is 3" also the Si intake make the filter point straight to the front of the car and the ITR ones the filter points towards the fender. another difference is that the ITR only has 1 near the TB which is for the valve cover vent and the Si one has 2 holes, 1 for the IAT sensor and 1 for valve cover vent

after i put the ITR intake manifold on it make it a drop easier to get the intake on since the mainifold is a drop smaller

you mean 2.5 and 3in , but thank you , you said it all right there.
this dude is still trying, he sent me a pic of the 2.5 in diameter he measured on the intake i sold him , but its at the top part of the intake.
hes not measuring from the center
oi told him to measure from the outer most points and see what he gets. at the top part of the circle he was already getting over the 2.5" mark .
but your statement gave me more firepower. thank you.

It should be obvious. I've seen the Si one in person and it looks puny compared to the ITR.

out of the car pics to help. i have installed an aem on a friends Si and it is made totaly different. the bends would never fit right.

don't mind the little caption in the pic. it as just pointing out a little scuff mark on the intake when i sold it.

Is this the same intake that was installed on your R??? I think I may have pictures of your R from the dyno day.

 

yup its the red one i had on my R , i have pics of it too .
but i sold it for 80$ becuase it was cut in 1/2 and had a hole drilled in it for nitreous use ,soi sold that becuase i got a new one to put in the R now.

 

maybe we can have a "meet" when he comes down. or just watch your foot "meet" his ***.

99-00 Civic Si = 2.75"
Del Sol DOHC = 2.5"
92-00 Civic (non Si) = 2.5"

These are the numbers I got from AEM.
