h22 sol running rich and hesitates
i have a h22a del sol and i am running a virgin p28 ecu. the car runs a rich and under full throttle it feels like it hesitates a little bit. do you think it has to do with the car not being tuned??? i was thinking about getting my ecu chipped from profunction(basemap tune). do you think that will help the car run a little better?? the car has h/i/e, walbro fuel pump, clutch and flywheel.

Umm..your problem might be due to the fact that you're using an ECU that controlled a 1.6L on a car that now displaces 2.2L.... The auto part isn't helping, either. Send the ECU off to be chipped, and make sure it gets converted to manual, assuming your car has a manual transmission. Get a basemap on it, and use it to drive to your local dyno to get tuned. Until you do all of these things, your car will run like turds. Don't stop at the basemap either. It's called a "base" map for a reason.
