Why..why..why..does this happen?
Ok..here i sit wondering whats going on now ,..so today i put a new starter in, and did a compression test...now i have a CEL....and my rev limit is like 6500 which would be ok, except i have a b18c1 in there and those of you who have the same motor know that its rev limit is much higher...also we changed the oil too,..or i should say the tech that works in my garage did all this work...oh and one last thing, its ideling a little higher now about 1100 rpm...and my odb2 scanner cant communicate or see the CEL...or so i was told...anyone out there have any ideas?????

remove negative battery terminal from the battery, let it sit for a minute then reconnect to the battery and start the car..
cell still there? still cant rev higher?
sounds like the ecu is in limp mode
