Default B16a bottom ,98 GSR Head

Okay, can I get some difinitive answers as to whether this is going to work?
here's what I'm workin with.
- 1st gen. B16a bottom end, 81.5mm bore, stock crank, New Rods, pistons & rings .( not yet purchased undicided on running stock internals or A/M any suggestions)
installing Stock '98 GSR Complete cylinder head on the B 16 bottom end ( using P72 ecu. and obd2 sensors and Hasport ecu plug for my 91 si plus all other swap essentials)
any suggestions, answers would be great,

a had a B16a stock bottom and gsr head in my eg and it was boosted and ran fine . i had to change the coolant tube and thermo housing to clear the water port on the back of the gsr head though , mainly little stuff but they bolted together fine .

thats funny, usually people use the gsr block and throw on the b16 head. but my buddy has a b16 bottom with gsr head and it works fine. its been blown a few times, but thats cause of other issues.

Yup on the same track low cost build for what I think will make decent power, the only concern I'm havin is pistons the B16' s are supposedly domed ( don't have 'em, that's just my research) and the GSR has dished ( to my knowledge) slugs because of the quench style cumbustion chamber, any Idea on what timing belt to run, or suggestions on other running gear ( damn 4am and the nights just bgun):be er::beer :: beer:

there isnt any P2v clearance issues with using the stock bottom its what i did and was fine . and if ur block still has the stock b16 water and oil pump use a b16 T belt, it shouldnt take you that long to do the swap , i pulled my ls , assem. the B16/gsr thing lol and installed the turbo kit and motor in a afternoon

everything should be interchangable i believe. not quite sure on what tbelt to use. i believe the waterpump and oil pumps are the same too.

just use the B16 timing belt from a 99-00 Si its what i used without issues . like i said the only problems i can remember having was the water neck on the back of the block and the thermo housing . due to the water port that is built into the gsr intake manifold . other then that everything bolted up fine make sure you use a gsr headgasket though . haha this is one hell of a mutt motor now that i think about it , works well though.
