Default Does anyone have info on the 2-stage manifolds on the F22A6?

I am looking to gain some more power, and liven up the board. I was wondering if any of you had some info that could help me out.
First, will an F22Ax intake mani fit on a F22B1?
Second, will the 2 stage operation still work?
Third, does anyone still have one around?

Its not really 2-stage. Its just a secondary set of runners that open at about 4500rpm. Sorta like pseudo VTEC.

Well, it gives a nice boost in low end torque, and it really is two-stage.

Heh those of use with dual runners are looking for single runner manifolds to boost top end.

Well, I might Extrudehone the short runners and make larger butterflies.

They use a special abrasive putty that will effectively port and polish the manifold. I may take the head off and port the mani and head together.

Intake manifold and headwork is really a black art. Bigger isn't always better. Remember you can sacrifice things like air velocity when you increase volume. For sure port/polish is great but don't go overboard with extrude/hone.

Don't worry. I will just make the ports slightly larger. I can tell that I still have room for improvement.
