Default picked up a 95 coupe

i just picked up this coupe, im pretty stoked. i payed 1800, came with aem short ram, projector headlights, clifford alarm, tein coilovers, amber gauges, some jdm interior pieces, check those seats and that steering wheel.

the car is really clean and i'm happy with it, with that said, there are problems.

1. I really don't trust the electrical (when the key is in the on position the speakers make a whining sound, happens when i turn the car off too.
2. I would like to get rid of those angel eye projectors
4. horn doesn't work
3. car is having that issue that a lot of people seem to be having. my car runs fine when cold after it warms up it idles rough as hell and stutters up to 3k rpm then the power returns and it drives fast. i replaced:

- iacv and fitv valves
- plugs, cap and rotor ( cap had a massive crack and rotor was chewed up, really badly)
- o2
- valve cover gasket and valve cover bolts
- cleaned my throttle body and intake manifold
- got an oil change and had got that fuel managment cleaner, the car had a lot of smoke pouring out that exhaust.

nothing has worked so far, what do you all think? are the pics to big? i'll take pics of the engine bay later. i'll fix those other issues soon, but this idle problem is driving me nuts.

Great price for a coupe. I would cover up those door panels. That pink is tacky.
1. I really don't trust the electrical (when the key is in the on position the speakers make a whining sound, happens when i turn the car off too.
check the speakers to see if the wires are touching each other or to metal

2. I would like to get rid of those angel eye projectors
Yeah...ditch them for stock. Angel eye headlights are out-of-date.

3. horn doesn't work
More than likely, the previous owner did not connect the wire for the horn during steering wheel install

4. car is having that issue that a lot of people seem to be having. my car runs fine when cold after it warms up it idles rough as hell and stutters up to 3k rpm then the power returns and it drives fast.
check the coolant level in the radiator. You may be low on coolant.

coolent level is fine, took apart fitv valve today completely and cleaned it up. now my idle bounces from 1000 to 1500 then it slows down and idles at 1000. im going to adjust it. it still bogs while i accelerate up untill 3k and completely bogs when the car is just idleing at a stop light.

Really clean car, I'm jealous How many miles were on it? I picked up a 93 coupe for about twice that, and it wasn't that clean. Looks good, and I don't think I need to mention again what needs to go away lol.

My coupe was doing the same thing. Did all those things listed above plus what everyone else said. Couldn't figure it out. Bought new wires for it and it went aways. Clean car, bro. Love the color. Coupe it up!

I would try that as well. One bad spark plug wire will make the car sound like a freakin' helicopter and bog like a ****.

Clean coupe man! For your problem, make sure you check your vacuum lines connected to the intake manifold; I had the same problem with my beater before it got rod knock (not related though).

i thought the same thing about the a/c, also has had the cruise control pulled and wiper pump with lines to the nozzles.

Replaced my spark plug wires and the bogging and idle issues seems to have gone away. but now i just have to deal with the tps issue of the bouncing idle.

anybody want to trade for stock headlamps and corners? haaha, didn't think so.

the cluster is the stock 92-95 Ex/Si cluster.. those do kinda look like 99-00 Si seats though.

I recently bought a 94 Coupe. My car ran like crap when started and around 3000 spitted and sputtered. Changed the fuel filter. cleared that right up. My idle was off as well, kinda jumped around, but cleaned the IACV, didn't help. So i checked timing, it's set around +2 at the moment. Runs like a top til it somehow its a rev limit/fuel cut around 4800?.. can't figure that out.. but it idles around 600 now!
