2500 rev limit b18b1 swap
so just got my car running i am throwing a few codes. 7,14, 1 and it wont rev past 2500 rpm in or outta gear. my question is what could it be. it ran perfect in my 92 civic si. i used the stock 92 gsr harness. whats weird is sometimes it will rev past that point.also i think my distrbitor is bad or my ignition timing is off could this be it
a) have you messed with or romoved the diizy or timing belt since the car ran right b) find out wat the codes ur throwing are for and then get back to us need more info

Check ur tps that could be it but really when somethings wrongs it will almost always throw an o2 tps code if u know someone with a diagnostic compter get them to take a look at ur sensor outputs.
If u havnt messed with the timing the timing is fine UNLESS youve messed with it. SO if you think u messed with it check it. its not going to decide that suddenly it doent like the timing anymore and not run.
yea im goin to check the tps as soon as i get a voltmeter the motr runs fine strats rite up cold, ang will marm up and run fine. idie is a little bouncey on the tach. what about the iacv could it be a wrongplug that i useg for it?
Its like a flat tire now imagin ur steering and brakes have sensors. ALrite ur tire goes flat and now u cant steer and ur braking is hampered so ur computer say hey fix ur steering and brakes but thers nothing wrong with these things its the flat tire u fix the flat tire and no more codes.
This is why having a diagnostic computer comes in handy cause itll show ur sensor outputs which will allow u to better pin point wat the problem is.

yea i get u on the flat tire thing i just cant affrod those over priced tools any. thats why i used the check light blinkin trick to get my codes. {could be a switchd plug alot of the plugs on my harness look the same any one no what wires go to the plug the goes on the iacv} would a iacv from a 91 b18a1? and as far *** my dizzy i thinking it might be the reason tho ive pretty much had evry thing tuned from wires to a coil pulgs etc before the b18b1 left my hatch back

make sure your map sensor plug and tps sensor plug are not backwards! either plug can fit. I did this once before when i did a head swap and i couldnt rev past 2500.
