Icon3 Quote On A Transmission

Im having several problems with my manual transmission and am looking around my town at diff tranny shops to see what would be more cost effective to have them tear it down and fix it or to just replace it. Ive been told by a friend that having them tear it down and fixing it would prob come out just as much as just putting another tranny in it. So Im trying to get an estimate on how much a used tranny would cost me. I Have a Honda Del Sol V tec model. It has the b16a2 motor in it. The last question I have and its prob real stupid but if i was searching for prices online for the tranny would i just type b16a2 manual transmisson? Is that the name for the tranny?

Yeah, although in the case of the B16, I would recommend anything other than a B16 or ITR tranny, B16s just don't have the torque for an LS tranny. B-series transmission repairs are very pricey when it comes to syncros btw.
