Was working fine and one day i go out and it turns over and doesnt start, next day it doesnt turn over at all...i replaced the starter and battery and still doesnt fire up, although i hear a clicking sound under dash...any ideas? NEED FIXED ASAP....thanks in advance!!!!

 

Try bump starting it see if it runs. if it works, park on hills.

So it turns over now? Or no? Clicking under the dash is probably the main relay.. It may need replacement, they fail without warning..

 

Before you buy a new main relay look in the fuse box under the dash, there should be a fuse right above were the battery wire goes in. See if it is blown, if so get a new one, easy fix

 

ima noob, the main relay is that grey lil box by your left foot? if i understand right? I took one off my 90 HB dx and plugged it in...and nothing, and no the car does NOT TURN OVER! at all....and what color is the wire running from the battery to under the dash? or color of fuse that i should check? im clueless when it comes to this stuff APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP

 

The fuse is not in your car. Pop your hood and look at your passenger side strut tower. Mounted on there will be a fuse box. Now put your hand on the wire that is connected to the positive post of your battery, follow that to the black fuse box. Pop it open and right above were that wire is there will be a fuse, look and see if it is blown. Click on this link, this is a pic of the fuse, it is the yellow one right beside the red wire.

its not the main relay...i changed it out with my running 90 HB main relay...and still didnt start, im just gunna sell it lol

 

dude thats lame, just fix it, i bet that if you pull codes from your ecu you can figure it out. dont just give up. mine hasnt started in a month, im not giving up, so just get a hanyes manual and WORK

 

if i had time and money i would...but im sure a fellow honda tuner will have better luck with it

 

**** i got mine sitting in my yard. no money and no time cause of school. just go to the junk yard like everyone else does lol they have a lot of stuff you can use, and lots of stuff you never knew you needed. most places dont check you when yo leave so you can snag a few small things and not worry about it. the junk yard i go to they dont check you cause they are hella lazy

 

i dont even have anywhere to park it...and i gotta know what to replace before i go looking for it...and i cant seem to narrow it down

 

Hey bro its a long shot but I had some same symptoms when my shut would start...at first I thought it may have been the ignition harness but after I replaced it it still didn't start...someone on here said check all the fuses so I did that and after I replaced ONE stupid fuse my car was fine so check all your fuses under the dash and under the hood...if its not that check for lose grounds
