Default Exhaust system for EG9

Hi guys,

I jus want confirmation on which catback exhaust systems will fit my 4 door 1992 SiR. Most of the ones I see advertised specify hatchback or coupe. I want to be sure The one I get has the correct fitment and matches the contours or the underside of my sedan. I am interested in the Apex'i WS2 because I want an oval canister and a quiet rumble. All your advice would be appreciated.

Even though Apexi only lists a coupe world sport exhaust, I believe that the coupe and four door share the same length exhaust. Is your SiR RHD with a B16 (I would assume, but you never know)?

yeah its RHD B16. Soon to be CTR pistons, skunk2 pro 1+ cams, springs, retainers and pro series intake manifold, Port and polished.
looking for headers and exhaust to complement that setup. It will be my daily driver so i dont want to too extreme. I expect the pro 1's to give me some good midrange as well as up high, so I was thinking to get a 4-2-1 header to help that out. But i need an exhaust that fits my car.

Well since the car has a B series in it, the exhausts you will buy from the U.S. may not bolt directly to your catalytic converter flange. The Apexi World Sport exhaust for a '92 to '95 coupe would fit the underside of your car, but you may have to do some lenghtening at the front end so that it bolts correctly to the cat. Other than that you would have to source a jdm exhaust that was made directly for the four door that came with a B16. Good luck!

I got the car with shitty rusty pipes underneath and not cat. There arent any emissions laws down here, so should I be able to just use a pipe in place of the cat?

I would use one of those adjustable test pipes unless you have someone that can build you one. They are very expensive for what they are, but they are quick and easy.
