Default Ignition Timing / Dizzy swap

Guys, having trouble finding sufficent information to convince me i can do the swap. I have a obd1 b16a2 in my ej2, going to swap it to my obd2 Ek, already have obd2 injectors (pending arrival) and i already have obd2 dizzy (pending arrival). My main concern right now is, swapping the obd1 dizzy off (has mark) and putting in the obd2 dizzy.

Is there anything i need to look for when doing this? or be careful of? can i advance or retard timing enough to mess up car if i dont do it right? Can i just try and trace the line from the obd1 to the obd2 then just put it on there? or is there a certain way that the dizzy has to go in?

If anyone can clarify info and advise me on how to do it, or guide me to something i can read to do it....please do so...Thank You.
