What do you guys think? (dc4 trade)
Well, just wanted to know what you guys thought. I have a 98 integra its automatic with a salvaged title. I got an offer for a trade. Its a 95 civic coupe 5 speed with a clean title and a stock engine. Thank you in advance.
let me see, a salvaged title for a clean title.... hmmm..... let me think.....
sorry didn't mean to be a ***, but think about it. it's a clean title.

If it's an EX coupe with the D16Z6 engine, then it's definitely a good deal. Hell I would do it just to get rid of the POS Honda automagic tranny.
ya get rid of the salvage title, I worked at a used car dealership and they said they take half the value of the car away if it has a salvage title. on my first integra i didnt think a salvage title was a big deal.... I wrong, it was really hard to sell but i ended up gettin like 2 grand more than it was worth so its all good

yeahhh, its all up to you man.. its whatever you want, i mean title doesnt matter to much unless it has frame damage.. as long as you plan on keeping the car... but if what you want is a civic... i like civic's but i would definatly keep the integra and swap the engine and tranny, and put some nice suspension on it... but its whatever you want, dont let our opinions mess with what you want to do... but for overall value, civic would sell more in the long run, if thats what your asking.., also how many miles are on the teg and civic??
Mileage and condition make a huge difference. And as previously stated, it's a Civic. Not that that's a bad thing, hell most people on HT have probably had a Civic at one time, but personally I think you would get much more fulfilment out of the Teg. It just comes down to what is more important to you. If you don't plan on getting any resale value out of the Teg, then just keep it and mod away.
Well ive been trying to sell my teg but have been gettin low balled for the slvg title and the whole auto thing. So looking at it for re sale value the civic is better. And if i do trade id like to do a swap. Thanks for the advice ill keep you guys posted.
Trade for the civic do a engine swap change the odometer and then goto dmv and put "not actual mileage" and sell civic and tell next owner you have no clue what the mileage is at.
thats if you wanna be a shady.. me i would just trade for the civic and swap engine and keep the civic for my self.. put a gs-r in there and smoke other fools!

yeahhh i guess if you like civics, get it and do an engine/tranny swap and have fun with it... i havnt had one before but i heard the 1995's are fun.. i think 95's are the best year civics... i just dont like the sohc.... but in the end man, its all your decision

If you plan on keeping the Integra and modding it the salvage title/automatic tranny should not be the reason for you to want to trade. However, if you always wanted a civic and plan to resell the car down the road then go for it. But to put things in perspective at the end of the day the majority of Honda enthusiasts would agree that an Integra is a MUCH nicer car than a civic...even if it does have a clean title.
Honestly man, I don't want to hear you make a regretful decision. I can already see it, the civic guy and his buddies are probably laughing that someone is willing to trade a 98 integra for a 95 Sohc coupe.
But as always, it's your car and go with what ever makes you happy man.
Goodluck
x2 hands down...unless you had countless amount of money into it...but if it's anything like over here out there someone else will trade you back so you can have another teg
the civic might have a clean title but doesn't mean it's clean. do a compression test on the civic first.
also it all depents on how long you had the integra.
if you plan to keep the integra for a while, just do a swap and be happy.

your teg looks pretty nice and would look really nice if it was lowered.
clean title deff. sounds better but sure does have alot of miles but you gotta think its a honda which means good engine life depeands how well it was taken care of.
honestly i would keep your teg and lower it unless you get civic (and is clean body) and do a motor swap IMO
