Default few questions about J in Del Sol

I am planning on maybe putting a J in my EG Sol. I can find a J35 out of an odyssey for really cheap. So i just had a few questions. Do all J motors bolt up to all J trannies (like D/B series trans bolt up to D/B series motors)? For example, does the J35 out of an odyssey bolt up the the tranny out of an accord/TL, even if they are J32s?

Are you having any issues with that big of a motor in that small of a car, steering issues etc?

I had a few more things but I cant think of them right now lol, but I will get back to u when i can :-)

thanks
Carlos

http://www.hasport.com/tech/installs/EGJ1.pdf

That's the stuff Hasport recommends using.

i looked at that earlier and I see that they do have the J35 listed but I was just looking for actual confirmation about the J trannies interchanging with J engines

Right above the general list of addition parts, is says:
"Manual transmissions for this swap can be found on the following models. 2003 and later model Accord with V6, 2003 Acura CL Sport, 2004 and later Acura TL."

I know a Civic that Hasport either did, or helped do, had a Pilot engine with a TL/CL Type S transmission. So I'm assuming that they transmissions are pretty interchangeable. Sorry I can't be of more help. If I find a definite answer I'll post again.

i actually had the same idea with the same engine into my ek sedan. you have to keep in mind there is very little aftermarket support for these engines.

plus you're fitting a relatively big engine into a small car. if people have to bash out part of the engine bay for a b series swap, imagine the trouble you'll have with an engine twice as big.
