i hate srt4's but i heard of someone put in the seats on a crx has somebody ever done that??

 

i'm sure they have, i've put a bucket in mine before

 

if youve ever rode in an srt4 you wouldnt be asking this question. those seats are the gayest contraption ever. and if you think about it. you can put seats out of a dodge dart in your car if you want. its pretty much an endless question for "x" seats in "x" car. but honestly. they feel like crap.

 

first of all.. why do you hate SRT-4s? they are nice cars for the price and fast for being stock, also the seats hug you way more than these EF seats so why not do the swap? I think that would be a cool mod and you would be different from everyone swapping in a seat from 'this' honda or 'that' acura so good luck..and no I dont have an SRT-4, I just dont know why people always talk **** about them on this website..

 

any seat will work. it's just a question of how much custom fab work you're willing to do. People say you can't mount stock DA seats in an EF using the stock rails. I did. Took quite a while and alot of measuring, cutting, drilling, painting, and bolting together, but it's done.

Just make sure it's crash worthy, and that the seatbelts engage your body at the same points the OEM seats did.

 

their **** poor quality, the fact that it is so hyped. its a pt crusier motor in a neon. all the sudden its "not a neon" and bst bang for the buck, its all marketingthat has you.

its manifold/turbo desgin, poor interior, cast crankshaft, so much invested in its inconel valves that honda has stock, nothing new cast iron block, poor oil pump set up, horrible oil gasket surfacing. lack of swapalbity for aftrmarket parts. and the owners are usally ricers. next question?

seats will fit brakets, side air bags wont work.
