Problems with clutch and car not starting
just recently put in an OBDII motor (b18c) into my 94 gsr. with the motor out, i put in a new timing belt. didn't do it with cylinder one at TDC, but i'm pretty sure i didn't move any of the cam gears. i also rewired the distributor because i used the OBDI engine harness. found a diagram on here that i followed which was for OBDI -> OBD2a. and thats mainly about it. I also switched out the ignition because the one on the car was broken.
been reading up on here for the past few days or so to see if i could find the answer. some people said it could be timing issues, and some say it could be bent valves. the car cranks and there is fuel and spark. could there also be any other problems?
and would a factory alarm stop me from starting the car? bought the car at a insurance auction as a shell. because i put a battery on there and realized there was an alarm on the car. so i couldn't even crank the car at first. then i pulled out two fuses that i saw under the dash, which i assumed to be part of the alarm harness because this harness was not in my donor car.
and the last problem i have is the clutch is on the ground. it maybe comes up like 1/2 an inch. but there is absolutely no pressure in it. but i engage because the car will turn over with it down, but not with it slightly up.
please let me know if ya'll have any suggestions.

Ok, fixed the timing belt today. lined it all up at TDC and everything the helms manual says to do. crank is now at normal speed. it was sluggish before. it sounds more normal now. now i'm stuck again as to what to do. any one have any suggestions? bought a compression tester today, and will check the compressions tomorrow.
and fixed the clutch today as well. so that parts done with. just need to get the car started now. sprayed starter fluid too, didn't help.
